The Weekend ...

19th October - Dear's Birthday

I made him a chocolate cake with chocolate coating. Yummy right? :) Bought him 2 presents too. Hope he likes it.

Decided to give him a surprise by having a small celebration just me and him at one of the rooms in Emax. Called him to go to Level 9 and lited up my proudly self made chocolate cake, presented my self prepared dinner - baked stuffed squids with prawns and the presents. He was shocked from the look on his face :)

We watched Aplha dog after that. It wasn't as good as i expected though.

20th October

We had to attend my cousin's wedding at Fort Canning. Had a great buffet lunch with really a wide variety to choose from - from salad, smoked salmon, butter mussels, spagetti, chicken, beef, even some goose stuff. Dessert was another wide spread - from like 5 variety of cheesecakes, jelly, fruits, puddings and even black and white chocolates to choose from.

The whole thing ended after lunch at about 2 plus so dear and i headed to Orchard to walk around. Had KFC before heading to Dempsey Hill during the evening. It's really a nice place, i highly recommend. We spend our night at Ben and Jerry. Ordered ice cream and brownie and chilled out. Dear bought me a stuffed cow and a tubbler to go along. He also bought a coin bank - excuse being we need to save money. Haha.

That's the wrap up of his 24th birthday. :)

Presently at Island Concrete doing audit. A change of place really, was quite reluctant to go to industrial areas but its kinda exciting as well seeing all the big concrete trucks and the cement. I even told my senior i dun mind doing the stocktake for Island Concrete. Must be mad ya? But truthfully, when are there chances to visit such places.
