Moving on~~

Many post by the good has shown that her life been pretty good !! :))
baby has graduated
from the first day i met her and know her, she was just a little girl - age 14
how has grown to become who she is total.... really impress me so much ...

Well entries do get shorter each when work life has been introduce
short is better than none folks
Little about me recently: knowing that i am working for citibank and will be moving to starhub with effect from next monday

Convocation

Frankly i don't have any feelings with regards to the convocation. I guess i don't have much feelings for ntu, its more like a place where i just study. Its unlike secondary and jc where i kinda miss the place and the wonderful memories i had there.

Changes ...

I have been having many cravings lately ... its all of the sudden - from mac fish fillet, wasabi coated green peas, collon biscuits which i use to eat when i was young, calbury almond chocolates blah blah ... wat's worse, i am eating more sweets than ever, finishing the entire packet of sweets, tubes of sweets ... Haven't been able to cut down yet.

Dear says i have changed. Have i? We haven't been able to be like in the past, besides the lesser times we meet and spend time together. I am afraid really.

So "zhun" !!!

First job --> Tuas area! I can't believe my ears when i heard it. Its really fated i guess. The more you dun want to be in somewhere, the more possibility you would be there. Haha.

Although its is in the west side, i feel it is really inaccessible and i really dun know how to get there except in a cab. I dun like the environment cause its all buildings and factories around. And most of all, i dun like the food there. No choice but have to eat whatever the canteen has and by the time you go down for lunch, all the nicer food is gone. Like today, i had to choose the leftovers. Yucky vegetables and oily fish and the rice is not even nice to eat. No choice ya, i still had to eat.

And guess wat, the more you hate something, the more you would see it. A tree lizard actually came into the canteen! I hate reptiles especially lizards!

Bad bad day. The only good thing is that my seniors are quite nice except i feel its kinda hard to communicate with them in chinese and to talk their topics. I miss school suddenly.

Another week ...

waiting for my dear to come. waiting to prepare tom yam soup dinner for him. he ends work at 8 now. this week is training for me so i get to end at 5.30 everyday. but i think next week work is going to start so maybe later nights for me.

Here I Come...

Here I come... to where dear and many of my friends have already dived into...

Ain't like it is going to be a deadly entrance to another dark portal where dangers roams the surface of the new realm. This ain't no WOW man...REALITY !!!
Today is my last day that I can proclaim liberation for I will be uplifed with the curse of liberation but yet falling into another curse - Curse of Career.
Perhaps just like most of you out there, it is scary and yet exciting. I am just having a mixture of both but certainly looking forward to it.

1st week of work ...

Felt kinda scared to be starting work. It seems that "i have grown up" and i can never return to the times where i can come home early and go for my afternoon swim, pon school if i want to (Without mc), skip lessons ...

Day #1 Wednesday:

Reached KPMG early that day (1st day ma, good impression, haha) but ended up having to wait for such a long time because the training wasn't in office and we were waiting for the coach to arrive. We were not told the programme before hand so we just happily hop into the coach without knowing where it would bring us.

We arrived at The Legends in Fort Canning. Very nice place! Had our training in one of the dining rooms, like those wedding banquet rooms. Upon arrival, they served us a wide spread of breakfast. I got to know some people from other universities and countries who were sharing the same table as me. There were some opening speeches and talks then was tea break (within 1 - 2 hrs). Went back to our talk again and then there was a sumptious 6 course chinese lunch. They treated us rather well ya, with some many meals. After lunch, talks and then tea break again. Haha. The whole thing ended around 5.30 and headed back home. I felt tired despite just sitting there listening and enjoying all the food. Strange ya.

Day #2 Thurday:

Same thing went to The Legends for training. Breakfast, talks, Tea break, talks, Japanese and Chinese Buffet, then there was a team competition (at least dun have to sit there). My friend was commenting she felt so unhealthy sitting there and just eating all day.

Thursday was special, we had a cocktail and BBQ Dinner thereafter to meet our managers and partners from our unit. Had a great time eating and talking to the seniors. They were all very friendly and sociable, i felt welcomed into the company.

Day #3 Friday:

Back to the office where we collected our notebooks and headed to our unit to get the know the people around. Spent the day just looking at the intranet and emails. Nothing much to do cause we have no assignments yet. But i have jobs planned out already, so certain periods are already booked.

Monday is training on auditing ...

Dear starting work on Tuesday, i guess it would be a total change for both of us since he ends so late and has to work on Sat. Was hoping that he would get a "free-er job" or able to work around me so at least we have some time together. He said that its gonna be 2 years only but i just feel so weird.

Back from Bintan

Just got back from bintan yesterday. It was a relaxing short trip i have to say. Bintan Agro Resort was quite isolated from the city and a good place to go if you want some peace and quietness (without much activities).

Day 1:
Reached the resort at about noon time. Checked into our room and had our lunch while watching Channel 8. Headed to the private beach at about 3. It was quite a disappointment at the start because the beach was rather small and there wasn't access into the water. However, we found a spot with a sofa facing the sea (meant for the spa) and lie there. I felt so peaceful with no one around us. Went back to our room and had our dinner. We had an appointment for massage at the spa. First time for both of us. 1 hr massage, shiok!

Day 2:
Woke up at about 8 and went for our free breakfast. It wasn't as good as the one we had in Tioman though. Dear was down with stomachache so he didn't get to eat much either. Went snokelling after that. Snokelling was the most disappointing thing on this trip. There wasn't much fishes to see :( but the beach was not that bad. Had lunch and went back to room to rest. Rented 2 dvd for $10 and played a few games of pool. Dear was nice, i went for my first facial (Yonka treatment) while he sat there and played his DS for 1 hr. Think the spa is the place we frequent the most.

Day 3:
Had our free breakfast and went around the resort to take some pictures. The guy was nice, he picked 2 pineapples and 1 papaya for us to bring back to Singapore. Went to Bestari Mall and Ramayana Mall with 2 other guys since we had nothing much to do. The shopping was not too exciting i guess.

It was another great time with Dear. Just like you said, it feels good when it seems that there is only 2 of us. I love spending time with you!
